KILZ® Adhesion Primer is a water-based, modified-acrylic bonding primer designed for hard-to-paint interior and exterior surfaces. Its advanced formula adheres to dense, glossy, and slick materials—helping create a strong base for topcoats while reducing or eliminating the need for sanding.
- Strong Bonding Primer: Water-based modified-acrylic formula designed to adhere to tough-to-paint surfaces and provide a durable anchor for topcoats.
- Works on Slick & Glossy Surfaces: Ideal for Kynar®, PVC, vinyl, Formica®, tile, glass, glazed brick, fiberglass, metal, glossy finishes, and chalky paint.
- Interior/Exterior Use: Suitable for indoor or outdoor projects; not recommended for floors or horizontal surfaces exposed to standing water.
- Fast Drying: Dries to the touch in 30 minutes and can be recoated in 1 hour. Allow 24 hours before topcoating with epoxies, lacquers, or products containing strong solvents.
- Versatile Application: One quart covers 75–100 sq. ft. depending on surface porosity. Can be applied with a brush, roller, or airless sprayer for smooth, consistent coverage.
